The Tuscany Michelin starred restaurants offers the chance of a fixed price dining from the 21st to the 30th of March 2014

From the 21st to the 30 of March, it will be possible to dine at fixed price, in some of the more famous Tuscany restaurants, awarded with a Michelin star.

The difficult economic scenario pushed the temples of the Italian restaurant to adhere to the first edition of “Cene Stellate” (in english “starred dines”), created by DiningCity, a portal dedicated to the high quality gastronomy, working on thirteen different countries. The event involves the restaurants awarded by the famous Michelin Guide, and offers a five course dine at affordable price: 55 Euro in the 1 star Michelin restaurants, 70 Euro in the 2 starsand  80 Euro in the 3 stars restaurants.

The goal of the event is to approach the passionates of the good food to the haute cuisine world. The format has been already successfully tested in other countries.

In Tuscany, at the moment, 7 restaurants adhere to the event: in Florence the Ora d’Aria and Il Palagio (Hotel Four Seasons), in Cortona Il Falconiere, in San Casciano Val di Pesa La Tenda Rossa, in Chiusi I Salotti (Hotel Villa Patriarca), in Casole d’Elsa Il Colombaio and in Pescia Atman. All these restaurants have one Michelin stars.

The region at the moment hosts twentysix Michelin starred restaurants. The only 3 star in the Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence. The 2 stars are instead four: Bracali at Massa Marittima (Grosseto), Caino at Montemerano (Grosseto), the Pellicano at Porto Ercole (Grosseto) and Arnolfo at Colle Val d’Elsa (Siena).  The 1 star restaurants are instead twentyone (Il Falconiere at Cortona (Arezzo), Ora d’Aria and Il Palagio, at Florence, La Tenda Rossa at San Casciano Val di Pes (Florence) a, Osteria di Passignano at Tavernelle (Florence), Trattoria Toscana at Castiglione della Pescaia (Grosseto), All’Acquacotta at Saturnia (Grosseto), La Pineta at Marina di Bibbona (Livorno), Bistrot, Lorenzo and La Magnolia at Forte dei Marmi (Lucca), Butterfly at Lucca, Piccolo Principe and Romano at Viareggio (Lucca), Lunasia at Tirrenia (Pisa), Atman at Pescia (Pistoia), Il Colombaio at Casole d’Elsa (Siena), Albergaccio di Castellina at Castellina in Chianti (Siena), La Bottega del 30 at Castelnuovo Berardenga (Siena), I Salotti at Chiusi (Siena) and Castello di Fighine at San Casciano dei Bagni (Siena).
