An important discovery of a roman domus, dated 1° century AD has been recently done in Arezzo, near to the Medici’s fortress.
It seems to be a residential building of the roman age. At the moment 3 ambiances have been discovered . Two of them conserve the rests of some wall paintings and floors.
The roman building is situated on the small hill of San Donato. The regional curator responsible for the archeological treasures announced that additional works will be done, in order to better understand more exactly the entity of the discovery. It seems it can be a very large public building. It could be one of the most important discovery of roman sites happened in latest years in Tuscany.
